I lay on a plush, oversized bed in my chosen immortal form. My wife Tifa & our daughter Marlene snuggle up to me by my sides. I cradle them in my arms & hold them with reassurance. Marlene takes slow, deep, relaxed breaths while slumbering in peace. My kona caresses our daughter’s face & beams at her with pride. She looks up at me with a tender smile.
“This is better than anything they ever wrote about me. I love, Luci.”
I give my kona a gentle kiss on her forehead. “I love you back, Tifa.”
