Visiting Tess

I materialize in my chosen immortal form at the Tower in Destiny 2 and make my way over to Tess Everis. She looks up from her kiosk as if she could sense me drawing near. Her expression brightens upon seeing me. I smile back at her as I weave my way through the crowd to her sales counter.

“Hello, Mr. Caeleste. How may I help you?”

“Hei, Tess. How have you been?"

She blushes at me.

“I’m doing much better now that you’ve arrived. Dawning has more sentimental value to me these days, thanks to you.”

I snicker at her response. “Likewise.”

She blushes at my comment while wearing a flirty expression. “Is there something in particular that I could assist you with?”

I smile at her. “Indeed there is, Ms. Everis.”

“Wonderful! How may I be of service?”

“What are your plans tonight?”

She blushes at me, again. “I hadn’t made any.”

“Would you like to have dinner with me?”

Her cheeks redden even more. “Are you asking me on a date, Mr. Caeleste?”

I flash a charming grin at her. “I thought it would be a nice way to end the holidays seeing how busy you’ve been. I wanted to show you how much I appreciate you. Besides, I haven’t had an opportunity to give you your Yule present yet.”

She gives me a flirtatious look. “If it’s as good as your present last year then I'm in for a treat.”

I beam back at her. “It’s even gudder this year.”

She giggles like a little girl at my playfulness, which causes me to snicker along with her.

“I’d love to spend the evening with you. Let me finish things here then we can go.”

“Sounds good, hun. I’ll wait for ya by the ironwood tree.”

A few minutes pass before Tess is ready. She exits out the back of her store and walks over to me with an enthusiastic expression.

“I’m all yours,” she says, to me. “Where would you like to eat?”

“Have you ever ventured to a different reality,” I ask.

She shakes her head ‘no’ at me.

“Then how about I show you one of my realms? There are some excellent places to choose from in New Valhalla. You look like you could use an escape from this place.”

She laughs heartily at my last comment. “An escape would be nice now that I think about it.”

I smile and stick an arm out for her to take hold of. She blushes, then wraps her arm around mine. A portalway opens next to us. I look at the beautiful Awoken entrepreneur hanging onto me. She is glowing standing next to me.

“I’m glad we could do this,” she says to me with a bashful expression.

I give her a tender kiss on the lips.

“I am too, hun. Now, let’s go. I have a fun & relaxing night planned for us.”

She makes a playful & excited squealing noise as we enter the portal to spend a romantic evening together.
