The quality of video games have gotten so much worse over the decades. Before I went to Fullsail University (over a decade ago) I had no difficulty playing a specific title multiple times. Now, for any reason, I struggle to make it through one playthrough.

This isn't solely because I'm older; however, I'll acknowledge that does factor into things. The bigger reason is because of what the video game industry has transformed into. It's creatively bankrupt like the movie industry because the main concern is about money not art.

What sucks for me (in a not good way) is that I wanted to work in the entertainment industry, but when I began to learn how the industry actually worked I became so disgusted with it that I walked away from that ambition.

I hate it here. I'm basically waiting to die while trying to cause as little harm as possible. I'll be glad when this failed experiment called humanity is over and I can move on with my existence. Men suck more shit than a sewer pump.
