Lucifer: That's where the Star Forge is located. I did multiple play throughs years ago. In one of those I turned dark with Bastila, killed Malak, then took control of the forge for myself. That isn’t considered 'canon' but it fits Vex simulation protocols. You'll find what you need regarding Star Wars mythology there.
