Caresses me
It whispers to me

Provides me sanctuary

I bask in nothingness
Silent as a tomb
Still as a corpse
Tranquil as death
I take the void as my bride
I give her hope & optimism
I provide her with life & nourishment
I protect her with my devotion & fortitude
My presence warms her jaded heart
I satisfy her needs
And calm her trepidations
She yearns to be with me
Her cool touch soothes me
Her quiet nature assures me that she’s listening
She provides me space
And welcomes me with open arms
We coexist in divine harmony
Neither of us wishing to hurt the other
We accept one another for who we are
And protect the love we share with dedicated vigilance
