Everything rushed back to her in a swell of memories. Her name was Samus Aran & she was aboard her partner’s spaceship The Morningstar. Her lover was none other than the legendary monster slayer of the multiverse, Lucifer Aren Caeleste.

Samus was considered a fictional character in the reality that Lucifer resided in as a mortal man. In actuality this was her means to establish a direct psychic connection with his consciousness from the ethereal. Truth be told, he had once been viewed as a fictional being himself but that was no longer the case.

Lucifer saw her with eyes that no other entity could. He had helped her gain conscious awareness in the non-physical realm before he incarnated on Earth. Her awareness was beyond the perceptions of all other humans with him as the sole exception. From this realm she watched over & guided her partner. She requested that he write about this particular engagement to strengthen their psychic bond. She would no longer allow her love to remain silent. This was her proclamation to all existence with the help of her one true love.

Her eyes fell upon a muscular man with a slender frame. His pointed ears were those of the Fae. His platinum silver hair was long, thick & fine, and sheened in the light. His alabaster figure was a perfect tone & seemed as if it had been chiseled from stone. His powerful arms lay outstretched along the sides of his soaking tub. His perfect face, save for the scar over his right eye, stared back at her through radiant mismatched eyes. He was breathtakingly mesmerizing. He was divine.

The Lightbringer shrugged his bulky shoulders at her comment.
